She spent a lot of time with her family, immediate and extended, and leaves behind many who loved her and will miss her. She loved and excelled in many sports while in school to the extent girls were allowed to participate at that time. She was surrounded by loved ones at her passing. She had an older sister, Patricia and has a younger brother, Michael. He was a lifetime resident of Payson. Judy graduated from Virgin Valley High School and then continued her education at the College of Southern Utah and obtained a bachelors degree in elementary education. At the end of World War II, in 1945, they moved to Toronto, Ontario. Preston loved dancing and music and met his grieving surviving wife, Elizabeth Bennington Wright at the LDS Single Adult dances, where there was an immediate attraction. Judith Anne Jones was born in St. George, UT on April 24, 1944 to Adolia Lee and Mary Faris Jones. Serving as Bishop of the Santaquin 3rd Ward was a life-changing experience where he served unconditionally. Upon returning home, he followed in his fathers footsteps and joined the United States Air Force and worked as a linguist at the National Security Agency in Maryland. Also preceded in death are a former wife Carma Crowther, 4 uncles: Gordon, Mark, Joseph Lucky & Chad Wright, along with several aunts, one recently known as Joyce Bevan Elkington.
